The three powers is a power exchange theory in BDSM proposed by LT Morison[1]
From this work the following ideas are extrapolated:
- A power is something you can punish for when defined expectations are deviated from.
- There are three power spheres inherited by the Master from the slave upon acceptance into service, Body, Behavior and Attitude.
- Each of those areas are something the D-type can come to control in the s-type through the consistant and responsible use of punishment.
