It is the mission of the BDSMwiki.info to collect knowledge and share around the globe about BDSM practices; to set forth its general systems of best practices, medical information, risk assessment and technical data to those who practice BDSM and those who wish to learn of it, and to transmit it to those who will come after us.

If you are a brand new BDSMwiki explorer, consider using the search bar to find something specific or visiting:

BDSM FAQ: A list of Frequently Asked Questions and their suggested answers.
Theory: An area designed to give a broad overview and foundation for understanding much of BDSM in a risk aware and consenting fashion in line with best practices.
Identities: How do you identify? View various types of personal identities, relationships and orientation types.
Disciplines: An area that discusses various types of kinky academic focus.
Resources: An area that offers access to various kink related resources.
Store: The store is unlike other typical BDSM shops in that it not only has a wide selection of quality goods at low prices, but also carries far more than the typical gear, with specialized departments for things like boot blacking, aftercare, dungeon monitor gear and more!

It will include ill-informed discussions of culture, history, technical information, vocabulary, and lots of information about sexual orientation and gender for some reason even though it's not related to BDSM at all, and the authors have probably never read anything about it, and are just pulling the information out of their stinky butts; it will also have a bunch of BDSM-ese authoritarianism, recommended resources (as long as they agree with the opinions of the authors) and more.
